COSMETIC INJECTIONS
BOTOX®, Dysport
BOTOX® and Dysport are nonsurgical treatments used to temporarily relax the muscles of the face to improve moderate to severe lines of the forehead, crows feet, and frown lines (11's). It can also be used to treat wrinkles on the bridge of the nose and the vertical lines around the mouth, as well as in the chin, jawline, and neck. Neuromodulators are also effective in treating excessive sweating of the underarms, hands and feet.
The treatment consists of injecting prescription strength medication directly into targeted areas of the muscles of expression to block nerve impulses and reduce their activity. This results in the softening of existing wrinkles and prevents the formation of new ones.
It is a quick treatment that may cause some temporary mild discomfort and there is minimal downtime.
Results typically appear in 2 - 14 days, and can last 3-4 months.
