Welcome to Renewing Confidence Medical Aesthetics. My name is Teresa Vanderboom, MSN ANP-BC.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel good and to look good--and it's okay to feel good about looking good!

I value the process of building relationships with my patients, and understand that trust is earned. My hope is to partner with you on your journey towards better skin health and a more youthful, refreshed face that enhances your natural beauty.
I am a nurse practitioner with almost 3 decades of experience in health care, spanning numerous settings and locations within the United States and Canada. My long-standing interest in medical aesthetics and my own personal journey towards healthy and younger looking skin have led me on this career path.

I received my training and continue to learn the art and science of medical aesthetics from an educational program led by a Harvard-trained plastic surgeon. I am a member of an elite group of providers and am mentored by some of the most talented aesthetic professionals in the Boston area.

I provide personalized treatments while aiming for natural and realistic results to gently and subtly slow the effects of the aging process. I will guide you on your journey; whether it takes one visit or a few to get to your goal, we will get there together.

WRINKLE RELAXERS
BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport
BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport are nonsurgical treatments used to temporarily relax the muscles of the face to improve moderate to severe lines of the forehead, crows feet, as well as frown lines.
The treatment consists of injecting prescription strength medication directly into targeted areas of the muscles of expression to block nerve impulses and reduce their activity. This results in the softening of existing wrinkles and prevents the formation of new ones.
It is a quick treatment that may cause some temporary mild discomfort and there is minimal downtime. Results typically appear in 2 - 14 days, and can last 3-4 months. Areas of treatment are individualized to your desired effect and prices will vary, based on dosage.
DERMAL FILLERS
JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel Fillers
Dermal fillers can restore a more youthful appearance of the face by replacing lost volume, smoothing wrinkles, plumping the lips, and enhancing natural features.
Treatment consists of the injection of a gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) into the skin. HA is a naturally occurring property of the skin which helps keep it moist and plump. As we age, levels of HA decrease, which in addition to decreased collagen production and bone loss, causes the face to develop a more hollowed appearance.
The results of dermal fillers are seen immediately, but the effects are temporary, lasting on average 6 to 12 months before the body naturally absorbs the particles.
Prices will vary based on product administered, area treated, and amount of product required for optimal results. Appointments are booked for an hour.
