The Nefertiti Neck Lift, also known as the Botox Neck Lift, is a cosmetic treatment designed to enhance and contour the jawline and neck. How Does The Nefertiti Neck Lift Work?

By placing Botox in strategic locations of the jawline and neck, the platysma muscle that pulls down on the face is relaxed, which resulting in a smoother and more lifted effect. Botox works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the platysma muscle, which is a thin sheet-like muscle that runs up from the clavicle to the jaw. As we age, the platysma muscle becomes more active and in combination with other effects of aging in the face, contributes to the development of sagging and jowling along the jawline. What to Expect During Your Visit

The Nefertiti Neck Lift is a straightforward treatment, typically lasting about 30 minutes. During a consultation, we will assess your skin’s elasticity and muscle activity, discuss your aesthetic goals, and determine if you are a good candidate. If your skin or jowling is too severe, surgery may be a better treatment for you. If you are considered a good candidate for the Nefertiti lift, Botox will be injected with a fine needle in several places along the jawline and in the neck. Most patients only experience mild discomfort and minimal bleeding and bruising.

Recovery and Results

Following the treatment, we advise against engaging in strenuous activities or exercise for 24 hours. You will observe results within 7 to 14 days, and these effects generally last around 3 to 4 months. We suggest scheduling a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks. Many patients discover that with consistent treatments, the effects of Botox build up, permitting longer periods between sessions.
